ABOUT RAVEN

Raven Berndt is an aspiring filmmaker and storyteller based in Olympia, WA. A Capital High School student graduating in 2026, she is passionately building her creative portfolio with the goal of attending a New York City film school. Her work is driven by a love for crafting compelling narratives.

Her creative storytelling and directing have already earned recognition, winning both Best Picture and Best Screenplay at the Ames Film Competition. Outside of film, Raven draws inspiration from her other interests, including horseback riding, music, and, above all, watching movies. When she's not exploring the backways of the PNW in her Volvo, she is exploring new ways to tell engaging stories and perfect her craft.

You can view the body of her high school film work and see her creative vision and work process in action by visiting her online portfolio at https://berndtrm.edublogs.org/
